HARVEST

👀

Hi ya'll!

Harvest is my word of the year for 2020. I have been sowing seeds,  planting, watering and nurturing for years.  Now it is time for me to gather my harvest.

"Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few"
Matthew 9:37

So what has all the sowing, planting and nurturing entailed, you may ask.  Well let me tell you:

1.  I have been a good steward with my finances.  Sure, I could have been more diligent and done some more fiscally responsible things, but I have consistently paid myself first, tithed, and for the most part used cash.

2.  I have been a good steward with my faith.  Studied my word, meditated and prayed.  I am still working on trusting God completely and listening to Him regarding every part of my life.  I don't know why I think I can or am even able to handle ANY of it, but hopefully one day I'll learn :)

3.  I have been a good steward with my network.  I have cultivated friendships, strengthened relationships with family, and made it a priority to be present for significant moments.

But I gotta be real, here is what I have not been that great at sowing:

1. Being a good steward with my body.  For years I was dedicated and consistent with physical activity 2 to 3 times a week, but work challenges and anxiety has derailed my efforts this last year and half.

2. Being a good steward of my time.  I am not THAT important at my corporate job, so I don't understand why I think I have to be on call for every email and every request.  It's okay to have breakfast and lunchtime workout and planned routine.  By the way, time is my new currency-more details on that later.

3.  Being a good steward of my talent.  Not that I have been lazy, but I have been apprehensive and at times apathetic.

So in this year of HARVEST, I will exploit all the seeds I have planted.  How will this manifest?
Because I have been a good steward of my finances, my account will overflow.  I will invest boldly in my business for my expected return. Because I have been a good steward of my faith, I will consistently pray for bigger and better in all aspects of my life.   Because I have been a good steward of my network and cultivating relationships, I will attract healthy relationship(s) that will abundantly bless me.   And that will grow the confidence to be a better agent for my body, time and talent.  To make it measurable:
1. 182 days of movement
2. Make every space of my home a pleasure (to cultivate creativity, inspiration, and good habits)
3. Check on my business everyday

So what's different this year versus any other year?  Don't we say "new year new me" every January 1st?  The big difference this year is HUGE - so listen (read) closely:  I KNOW I DESERVE IT
